 Formalis Information Technologies organized the "Governance and Compliance" Seminar in collaboration with IBM and Index.Many pioneer companies from different sectors especially from finance attended the seminar.After breakfast and meeting each other,Tamer Gülce, General Manager of Formalis Information Technologies,talked about COBIT, ITIL Standarts, implementations of BDDK in Turkey, compliance methodologies and benefits of using software products.
Afterwards, Mehmet Ak, IT Unit Manager of Sekerbank,mentioned the practices and experiences they had in their company since 2005.Also Mehmet Ak talked about the common projects they worked with Formalis and benefits of products used in these projects.It was noticeable that both Mehmet Ak and Tamer Gülce gave point to Compliance and Governance should be seen as a frame of advantages not only a study of auditing and reporting.Then, Erkan Özkan, IBM Rational Product Specialist, presented general perspective of Rational Products.
